Browse Plugins
Discover and add official plugins to your systemprompt.io marketplace from the plugin directory.
On this page
The Browse Plugins page is your directory for discovering official plugins built by the systemprompt.io team. Each plugin bundles a set of skills, agents, and connectors designed for a specific use case.
Searching and Filtering
At the top of the page, you have two tools for finding plugins:
- Search bar -- type a keyword to filter plugins by name or description
- Category filter -- use the dropdown to narrow results to a specific category (e.g., Marketing, Engineering, Sales)
These filters work together, so you can search within a category or browse a category without a search term.
Stats Badges
Two badges at the top of the directory show:
- Available -- the total number of plugins in the catalog
- Added -- how many you have already added to your marketplace
This helps you quickly see how much of the catalog you have explored.
Plugin Cards
Each plugin in the directory is shown as a card with:
- Name -- the plugin's display name
- Category -- what type of work the plugin supports
- Description -- a summary of what the plugin does and who it is for
- Counts -- the number of skills, agents, and connectors included
Adding a Plugin
If you have not added a plugin yet, its card shows an Add button. Clicking it copies the plugin and all its contents into your marketplace. The plugin's skills, agents, and connectors become available in your workspace immediately.
Removing a Plugin
Plugins you have already added show an Added badge along with a Remove button. Clicking Remove deletes your copy of the plugin and its associated skills, agents, and connectors from your workspace.
Removing a plugin does not affect other users. It only removes the plugin from your personal marketplace.
What happens when you add a plugin
When you add a plugin from the directory, the platform creates a personal copy in your workspace:
- A copy of the plugin is created with your account as the owner
- Each skill is copied to your skill library with a
base_skill_idlinking back to the original - Each agent is copied with a
base_agent_idfor lineage tracking - All MCP connectors are configured automatically
- Everything syncs to Claude Desktop on the next refresh
You own the copy, which means you can edit the skills and agents to fit your needs without affecting the original. To personalise your added plugins for your specific business processes, see Adding and Personalising Plugins.
