Billing
Manage your systemprompt.io subscription, view usage, and understand billing. Learn about plans, pricing, and payment options.
On this page
systemprompt.io uses a simple subscription model. You start with a free tier that includes core platform features, and upgrade when you need more capacity. All billing is managed through your dashboard -- there are no hidden fees or surprise charges.
How billing works
Your subscription is billed monthly based on the plan you choose. Each plan includes a set amount of skills, agents, and team seats. Usage is tracked in real time so you always know where you stand.
The billing cycle starts on the day you upgrade. If you upgrade on March 15, your next billing date is April 15. All charges are prorated when you change plans mid-cycle.
Accessing billing settings
- Sign in to your dashboard at systemprompt.io
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
- Select Billing from the dropdown menu
- The billing overview page shows your current plan, usage, and payment details
From this page you can manage every aspect of your subscription.
Viewing your current plan
The billing overview displays:
- Current plan -- The name and tier of your active subscription
- Billing period -- Start and end dates of your current cycle
- Next payment -- The amount and date of your upcoming charge
- Usage summary -- How much of your plan allocation you have consumed
If you are on the Free tier, the page shows your current usage against the free limits and a prompt to upgrade when you are ready.
Usage tracking
systemprompt.io tracks usage across several dimensions:
| Metric | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Skills | Total number of skills created |
| Agents | Number of active agents configured |
| Executions | Skill runs consumed this billing period |
| Team members | Seats used on your account |
Usage updates in near real time. Check the Usage tab in your billing settings to see a detailed breakdown by day or by skill.
When you approach a plan limit, systemprompt.io sends an email notification at 80% and 95% thresholds. This gives you time to upgrade or adjust your usage before hitting the cap.

Troubleshooting
I was charged but my plan did not upgrade. Payment processing can take a few minutes. Refresh your dashboard after 5 minutes. If the issue persists, contact support with your invoice ID.
My payment method was declined. Verify your card details and ensure your bank has not blocked the transaction. Try a different payment method if the issue continues.
I need a refund. Contact support within 14 days of a charge. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically process within 5-10 business days.
I cancelled but was still charged. Check the cancellation date on your billing page. If you cancelled after your billing date, the charge covers the period before cancellation. If you believe this is an error, contact support.
